Chaos, climate and Kubernetes top the agenda at CLO 2021

Event Two more weeks to go and we’re thrilled to announce two keynotes for Continuous Lifecycle Online, our three day virtual event bringing together some of the DevOps, Containers and CI/CD world’s brightest thinkers and doers.

On May 11, Dr Holly Cummins, senior technical staff member and innovation leader at IBM, will be talking to you about How to Love Kubernetes and Not Wreck the Planet. With 2 per cent of the world’s energy use down to data centres, Holly will be asking “Is K8s helping or making things worse” and laying out a roadmap to help you figure out how to do the right thing.

Our Day three keynote speaker is Liz Fong-Jones, who will give you a primer on chaos and resilience engineering, and some pointers on how to use these approaches in production. This won’t be a theoretical talk. Liz will be drawing on her own experience at Honeycomb, where no node lives longer than 12 months, and nodes are automatically recycled every week.

We’re really excited to have Liz and Holly join a speaker lineup that is big on both thought leadership and practical experience. You can see the full lineup of speakers, and purchase tickets for the event taking place from May 10th to 12th on the CLO website here.

Remember, we’ve organized it so that each day dives into a specific topic, with day one focusing on DevOps, day two on Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration, and day three talking containers, You can access all three days of CLO for just £250 or take things day by day.

While things are still virtual this year, we’ll make sure the sessions are as interactive as possible. And with every session recorded and available to ticket holders exclusively after the conference, you won’t have to worry about those day-to-day interruption and distractions, you won’t miss out on a thing.
